ABOUT GREG

Greg Ivey’s approach to real estate is shaped by a foundation in business, entrepreneurship, human behavior, and community-based service. Drawing from more than 20 years of experience in marketing, business development, branding, content creation, and consumer engagement, he combines an entrepreneurial mindset with a deep understanding of how people make decisions and perceive value. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a degree in Sociology with minors in Psychology and Business Foundations, an academic background that continues to influence his emphasis on negotiation, communication, strategic positioning, and long-term relationship building.

Prior to real estate, Greg helped operate a multi-faceted family business that included lodging reservations, a local newspaper, and a community information portal. His responsibilities spanned marketing strategy, advertising sales, graphic design, website management, content creation, and distribution. Working across multiple platforms provided early experience in branding, market positioning, consumer engagement, and business development.

Many of these foundational skills were learned from his father, Glen Ivey, a Texas Radio Hall of Fame inductee, broadcaster, entrepreneur, technology pioneer, and voiceover artist whose career spanned more than four decades. Growing up in a family business environment rooted in media, marketing, communication, innovation, and community engagement provided Greg with firsthand exposure to building trusted brands, serving local communities, and adapting to changing technology and consumer trends.

Greg began his real estate career in June 2015 as a Client Relations Manager, where he helped facilitate approximately $25 million in transaction volume while supporting more than 100 families through the buying and selling process. During this time, he earned multiple internal awards for performance and client service while developing a detailed understanding of transaction management, communication, and client expectations.

In August 2018, Greg transitioned into a full-time buyer and listing agent. As a producing agent, he quickly established himself as a consistent top performer, becoming the Top Producing Realtor on his team for multiple consecutive years. His success was driven by disciplined pricing strategy, market analysis, innovative marketing, and a strong ability to align data with real-world buyer behavior.

Today, Greg combines the analytical skills developed through his education, the entrepreneurial experience gained through his family business, and more than a decade of real estate experience to help clients make informed decisions with confidence. His approach blends technology, data, communication, and personalized service with a focus on building relationships that extend well beyond a single transaction.

In June of 2023, Greg founded The Ivey Agency to create a real estate model centered on value, clarity, and lifelong-term client relationships thus the slogan “Your Realtor For Life.” After years of working within traditional, volume and transaction driven environments, it became clear that a more focused and intentional approach better served clients navigating increasingly complex market conditions.

The Ivey Agency was designed to remove many of the constraints commonly found in larger brokerages—such as transaction quotas, rigid processes, and one-size-fits-all service models. This structure allows for more time, attention, and strategy to be applied to each client’s situation, whether buying, selling, or planning their future.

By combining experience, market data, and modern marketing tools, the brokerage operates with a hands-on, advisory mindset rather than a transactional one. The goal is not volume for the sake of volume, but informed decision-making, thoughtful pricing, and representation that adapts to both the market and the client’s long-term goals.

Over nearly 11 years in the real estate industry, Greg has represented more than 155 home sales and over $57 million in closed and pending transaction volume. Earlier in his career, while serving as a Client Relations Manager, he was directly involved in facilitating approximately $25 million in transactions across more than 100 families as part of the core transaction team.

His experience spans a wide range of DFW markets and micro-neighborhoods, allowing for precise pricing guidance, realistic market expectations, and data-supported recommendations tailored to each client’s goals and circumstances.

Known for a methodical, data-driven approach, Greg integrates market analytics, modern marketing, and technology to position properties effectively and help clients make informed decisions.
